eLearning Corner courses are delivered to you electronically for installation on your intranet or Learning Management System. If you would like us to host the course and track completions on our state-of-the-art Learning Managment System, we offer competitive pricing, over 12 years of hosting experience with commercial and federal clients, and reporting features to satisfy your internal auditing. Our LMS is hosted on a dedicated virtual server in a SSAE 16 Type II certified hosting facility. All of the products we use are commercially supported.

Our courses will run on an intranet, but an intranet is not a Learning Management System. If you are subject to security audits, you will need reports showing the percentage of employees (and contractors) who have completed the course each training cycle. Hosting your course on an LMS makes reporting easy since students are required to log in and identify themselves to the LMS.

For each student, the LMS records the amount of time spent in the course, quiz scores, and satisfactory completion.  A good LMS will provide a company-wide completion report of your IT Security Awareness course for your compliance audit.

Reports… All employees in but what do you get out?

Every Learning Management System should provide an organization-wide completion report, but that report by itself is a low standard. eLearning Corner provides more metric reports than the average LMS.

A report on incomplete learners can be the most important report for mandatory training.

Perhaps you want to break down learner completions and incompletions by department?

Metrics…

Quiz reports reveal which modules cause problems for learners, enabling you to identify areas that need improvement and may present a possible security risk.

Surveys…

Build ungraded survey questions into your training, and take advantage of annual all-hands training to query employees for feedback on security matters.

Workstation Configuration…

Report on the browser and operating system a specific user was using or totals across all employees.

Custom reports…

Contact us if you have specific reporting requirements.  We love a challenge.

eLearning Corner Security Awareness course meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 27002, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.

  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)
12.6 – Implement a formal security awareness program to make all employees aware of the importance of cardholder data security.
  • ENISA Information security awareness in financial organizations
The awareness program must be customized to the needs of the organization. Generic security programs fail.
  • NIST 800-16 IT Security Training Requirements
Each agency shall provide for the mandatory periodic training in computer security awareness of all employees involved with the management, use, or operation of each Federal computer system.
  • ISO/IEC 27002 Information security awareness
8.2.2 – All employees of the organization should receive appropriate awareness training. Awareness training should commence with a formal induction process before access to information or services is granted. Training to enhance awareness is intended to allow individuals to recognize information security problems and incidents, and respond.

Should my course be customized? How do I comply with audit requirements? Should I rent or buy an LMS?
